Ingredients

12 plums, pitted and halved
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup water
2 tblsp tapioca
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
3 tblsp white sugar
2/3 cup milk
3 tblsp margarine, melted
1 tblsp brown sugar

Plum Pudding

Plum PuddingMethod

1. Preheat oven to 175 C.

2. In an oven proof baking dish, place in the plums together with 1 cup sugar, water, tapioca and cinnamon. Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes.

3. Turn The Temperature of the oven to oven to 230C.

4. In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, 3 tblsp sugar, milk and melted margarine to form a dough. Drop the dough by spoonfuls onto baked plum mixture.

5. Sprinkle with a little brown sugar if desired.

6. Bake in preheated oven 10 minutes, until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
