Sherry Trifle
Method
1. Slice the cake into 8 thin pieces & sandwich together with raspberry jam. Cut in half again.
2. Place in the base of four small dishes or one large glass serving bowl.
3. Spoon over the sherry & sprinkle with raspberries. Pour over the custard.
4. Whip the cream until softly peaking & spoon over the custard.
5. Sprinkle with more raspberries and flaked almonds & serve.
