Lasagna
Method
1. Fry the chopped onion and garlic in a large pan until soft. Add the mince and brown.
2. Add the chopped pepper and the mushrooms. Pour in the tin of tomatoes and add the tomato puree to thicken.
3. Heat through and mix well to thicken the mixture
4. Using a large rectangle oven proof container spoon a layer of the mince mixture into the bottom of the container
5. Top with the lasagne sheets then cover with some of the white sauce to create one layer.
6. Repeat the layers until the dish is full or you run out of mince mixture
7. Cover the top layer of white sauce with the grated cheese
8. Slice the large tomato and place on the top of the dish to decorate
9. Cover the dish in foil and bake for 40 minutes in a medium oven. Remove foil after about 20 minutes to brow the top
10. Serve immediately with garlic bread and fresh salad
